Verboso wins 2nd in Life Sciences & Medical Innovations at Northwestern’s VentureCat

On May 26, 2021, Verboso competed in Northwestern’s annual business plan competition VentureCat, winning 2nd place in the Life Sciences & Medical Innovations track. Being a student founder showcase, our CTO and cofunder, Michael Young, pitched as team lead, while the entire founding team participated in the Q&A portion. Michael is a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering with his research focusing on AI and machine learning for assistive robotics in the Argall Lab.

My time at Northwestern has been pivotal in Verboso's success thus far. My advisor, Dr. Brenna Argall, is really supportive of this project and helped me develop the critical research mindset required for the technological development happening behind the scenes at Verboso. Also, shout out to my Masters' advisor Dr. Bhattacharya at Texas A&M for encouraging me while there.

Verboso is proud to to compete with such great companies as those that participated and thankful for the support and guidance provided by the VentureCat team and coaches.
