Information we collect
The Verboso Website
The Verboso Website (Verboso.com) is an informational website for parents and therapists to learn more about Verboso and our speech therapy services.
You may also sign up for speech therapy services through the Website. When signing up for the Services we will collect your contact information such as your name and email address so that we may contact you regarding your appointment. You may also choose to provide your mailing address and your phone number.
If you contact us through the form on the Verboso Website we collect your first and last name, email address and message. We store this information for as long as necessary to respond to you. If you agree to our mailing list on the form, we will store your name and email address until you request this information be deleted.
The Verboso Portal
The Verboso Portal allows parents and therapists to manage and engage in a children’s therapy program in one place.
We collect information from a parent when they sign up. We collect the parent’s first and last name, their email and their payment information. We may also collect their child’s first and last name, their child’s date of birth, their child’s speech diagnosis.
Verboso will use the parents contact information to provide information regarding their child’s services. We will also use the payment information to collect payment for the services and in the verifiable consent process. The parent can consent to certain data collection and if full verifiable parental consent is not obtained, then Verboso deletes all data collected.
We collect the following information from children when they use our apps in the portal: the audio recording of the child’s sound production, the grade associated with that production, other exercise accuracy data and the time spent using the games.
We automatically collect the following information in our Portal: exercise accuracy data and the time spent using the games. We also collect information on how you navigate and use our Portal, for example page views.
The Marine Team App
No personal information is actively collected in the Marine Team App. A user may enter a first name. Users must enter a first name only to participate in the app. This name is not visible publicly. The app collects in-app activity such as game scores for users to review. This information is used for the purposes of internal operations only i.e. game play. Information collected by the Marine Team App is stored locally on the user’s device and is never transmitted to Verboso or stored on Verboso’s servers. Data can be deleted at anytime by the user.
How we use this information
We use the information we collect to provide our services, to allow parents and therapists to use our services to support their children with speech therapy. We do not share this information with anyone other than the third party service providers outlined below.
Information is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service. If the user opts out then the account and all associated information is deleted within 72 hours.
We may disclose your personal information if required by law or in the event of a company sale or proposed change of ownership. We may also disclose it to protect Verboso’s rights and properties or to investigate fraud or intellectual property infringement.

Third Party Service Providers
We work with Microsoft Bookings in order to provide scheduling services.
We may include links to third parties from the website or services. Verboso isn’t responsible for these companies and because we have a link doesn’t mean we endorse them. Your use of our services may be subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policies of other services that we don’t control such as mobile app stores, mobile software platforms or payment processors. Please be sure to check their privacy policies if you decide to visit them.
Verboso may be regulated as a “covered entity” under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”). You may find our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes in detail overall how we use and disclose your individually identifiable health information, at verboso.com/home/hipaa-notice-of-privacy-practices/.
Verboso uses generally accepted security measures and safeguards in an attempt to keep the data it collects secure and requires that the third parties it works with agree to do the same. Please be aware though that, despite our best efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable.
How to update or remove you or your child’s information
Verboso keeps your content for as long as necessary to provide our service. If you wish to opt out of services, review you or your child’s information or delete it please contact us using the information below.
